Judy Musgrove’s Social Media To Do List:
Let me fill you in. When I create a WordPress website – I also have a Social Media component to it. I want to make sure that when you blog, that your posts are automatically going out to your respective social networks. It started with the main three:
But new networks were springing up and pretty soon I was utilizing:
- Google +
- Slide Share
- Four Square
I think you are getting the picture here! So, because things were getting so convoluted, I decided to create a “Social Media To Do List” – one that I could follow and check off and one that I could share with my clients – a lot of this work is background work, and because they weren’t seeing something tangible right away – I decided to give them a visual.
Well, this list is really become a popular document! The last two pages of the document are your “Directory Listings” list – with the respective URLs – so you can go to the websites and submit your business listing. This is very important to do! All of the listings that I have listed are the “Freebie” Listings. I am not saying that you shouldn’t do a paid listing, but you can start out with the “Free” listing and then you can go from there.
So many of us want to do what we can, us Small Business Entrepreneurs need to be in some control – while we realize that delegation is a huge thing that we need to embrace, we still want to make sure that we know what we need (when we exceed our area of expertise). Just like many job’s, there is a lot of background work. With creating the WordPress Websites/Blogs, we need to know a lot of information! Hopefully you will find this document of use – and feel free to share with others! Your Social Media To Do List is a great start!
