I subscribe to this to keep myself focused, to remind myself that I am in control of me. With the new year, I have been reflecting on different business practices, business relationships, goals for 2011, what I want, that type of thing. And this quote from Rhonda Byrne says it all.
We all have our own power to attract what we want in our lives. Personal does roll over into Professional – and sitting down, reflecting, realizing what you want to achieve is an important step. Next come “how you are going to achieve that?” Take a moment and reflect –
- Is what you are doing producing the results that you want
- If the results aren’t what you want ~ determine why and what you can change to make the results you want happen
- What are your business goals for 2011?
- How are you going to achieve those goals?
- Writing things down is imperative to success – and to measure how things are working for you
- Are you willing to look at it honestly ~ not placing blame or what if’s or excuses, but really looking at the true issue and then resolving that issue to move forward
I could continue, but this is a good start for us all. Yes, I am writing things down, reflecting, understanding why something isn’t working, or a communication broke down. But the best thing is that I am surrounding myself with like minded people, those that want to move forward in their personal and professional lives, those that are open to brain storming, discussing, really getting in the trenches to work out a success system.
